scrambled!

Maybe not flying back to the States on the 17th.

Oh and yeah, Happy Valentine’s Day from OZ

So today I went into the city

and I talked to a gallery owner about his establishment

Leaving, I made my way through Hyde Park

heard suffering shrieks and squawking crows peircing

pronouncing pain; calling the ringing of dinner bells

Under this tree I looked up to see an opossum there alive and unmoving

while crows pecked at it; gathered waiting for death

another young man was passing thru and he too heard the moans above

so we two of our own accord stopped and stared; in broken english he

said throw stones to scare off the birds, only no stones we found, simply sticks which

came off our our hands in misguided trajectories, several failed attempts

before he told me “there is nothing we can do. it is the cycle of nature.”

i understood, said goodbye and kept walking

across the park i sat to smoke, shortly joining me on my bench was a young woman

who placed herself at the far end. she looked despondent so i asked “how are you?”

no reply, so i sat her out, she left and as she left i saw the white cords from her ears

her own world thus i went on myself

to the toilet in the garden where I spent some time on the porcelain phone to God.
